Welcome to Torwood
When the ground broke in 1996 announcing the new City of Saline development called Torwood, Bob Thurman (owner of Timberline Building and Design) welcomed various semi-custom builders with the intent of creating a high end community with a natural wooded setting, city utilities, and architectural diversity. Torwood was built in 4 phases and was completed in the late 2000's by Livonia Builders.
Located at the west edge of the city limits (at the corner of Michigan Ave. and Austin Rd.), Torwood is blocks from Mill Pond and Curtiss Parks, the Saline River dam, Mickey's Dairy Twist, and is a one mile walk from downtown Saline. Enjoy the convenience of street lights, sidewalks, city utilities and garbage pick up. There is a true sense of community with annual organized neighborhood activities.
Recent sale prices range from the mid $300,000's to the high $400,000's.
Award winning Saline schools and Pleasant Ridge Elementary.
